Tar-baby Matrix Mindtraps

 Tho' applicable in  many ways,  I am focusing on the  'Return to the South' ideological ethos.  What merits there are for this ethos/premise are offset by two factors: Cracker inertia and what we agreed on,  climate and geological land degradation. 

For the fixated sake of temporal entitlement,  FULL SPEED AHEAD, claiming what man, directly,  and have induced Nature, indirectly have so damaged to the point of long term investment-at best. 

Brings me to this topic, 'Scientia gratis Scientiae', knowledge for the sake of knowledge  as an genetic organism algorithm. AKA, the fore-planned individual destiny. 

Similar to Br'er-in-law's dictum of relationships in family based on the coincidental joint reference to the maternal birth canal, our juxtaposition in contemporaneous time with others is coincidental to space-time locale. Beyond that, nature and serendipitous,  random nurturing are the determinants for what we become aware and incorporate into our intellectual tool box. 

Awareness of the possibility of something's potential expands your dimensions of consciousness. At a certain gained aggregate point, you become evolved past your former operational baseline. 

The varying operational emotional as well as intellectual baselines are a derivative of this.  For me,  my emotional autonomy  has been the greater form of my intellect than any quantity of data in a particular space and time period. The time period has been defined by my emotional changes more directly than the secular or temporal knowledge accessible. 

Example: the loss or serendipitous addition of a  legacy or transient significant other has led to more flexibility and versatility  in my perspective and prospective thinking 💭 for tactical or strategic actions. 

From thinking of institutional group learning as essential to an obligatory venue to be endured and barely tolerated reflected my greater reliance on my intuitive insights than what was didactically imparted to me in informal and formal social settings.  ⁿ

As with any tool box,  what we learn to employ determines the type of products we generate. This ran parallel to being a more transactional utilizing person than a consumption satiate.. As I became less the consumption satiate I was more aware of the transactional .

U-Shaped curve of over-compensating decompression

 Think of an upside down parabola. What you could name as 'the feet  in the air' for the tips of the curve at the top; they represent those of the most satiated over-compensated decompression while those at the bottom of the U-curve are the most frustrated and dissatisfied. One could say that the   two legs of the U-curve are metaphors for an indefinite number of such    legs (stems) that could exist in a 360 degree pattern circling around.       The metaphorical two stem-legs represent the juxtaposition of contrasting material fates and their reflective opposite equivalents.

Getting back to decompression from emotionally confining circumstances.  I'm beginning to think that our feral, pre-complex-acculturaton to socializing from our genetic nature-back to the pre-neolithic hunter-gatherer days: there was more intuitive, aka gut-based, behaviors than     the present pre-programmed templates-informal and formal. The   acculturation is much like an exoskeleton on the psyche. When it is ubiquitously common condition shared by most, there is the same     common acceptance.

When stark differences and disparities become acknowledged, then the privileged "freedom" of some affect those of more restrictive privileges ,       at first, with personal dissatisfaction with one's condition before seeing factors beyond one's self as contributing-to-conspiring against one's aspiration for equivalent satiated satisfaction.

In my case, going from having dominant control of the when, how,        and where of my time to the protocols of a part-time job has revealed        the contrasting emotions of little-to-no need to decompress at the end         of a work day to seeing the need for a much needed recess for my      cognitive energies to matters more resonant and congruent to the former privilege of being the determiner of my time, than the now one who's    time is obliged for less enjoyable means.

If I in a relative less onerous and dangerous condition can be so     consciously aware of this cognitive contrast, what about those for       whom work is a dire or necessary, if not involuntary subordinate     necessity. What ever free time and space they could get, it would not         be unexpected for them to seek an amplitude of decompression that     would be more acutely intense than me typing these words of analysis       for you with relatively equivalent decompression needs similar to mine.  And those whose conditions are more restrictive and repressive on their latitude of options? Compound that with physical and emotional    assaults-micro/macro-on their persona for which simple unwinding decompression is not enough!!

It's the nature of the depths and the crushing intensity found at those depths at the bottom of that U-curve that the crushing nature of the acculturated socialization is known for its literal bare, nakedness of brutality. Everything up the chains and their reflective, juxtaposed  opposites are the less traumatic versions of what occurs at the bottom         of the U-curve (bottom of the crab basket) of emotionally 'humane'   survival.

Hector (Jimmy '0') and Achilles (Buddy) loyalty and devotion to the team, fans, and their Coach/Father show the valiant service and love for those they associate, their comrades in the BB-battles and even those with whom they compete against vigorously. BUT at the same time, as one who's looked askance at those who've talked of their Confederate heritage and fore-bearers saying 'it's heritage not hate' that stirs the devotion of them to their fore-bearers and their fore-bearers service to the 'Lost Cause', I see the connection of Jimmy's and Buddy's devotion to the Team, SU, and Pops and those who fought in the 'Lost Cause' and their posterity who revered them.  

The system that's nurtured them to be those valiant athletic warriors, also used them as sympathetic icons for a system that insidiously exists for the "$$Ka-ching$$" of their marketing off them, which until this year provided no benefit for the stars on the court, let alone their brethren bench warmers. NCAA has plenty accomplices in the local and national media (except maybe NYC journalist who act like carrion tearing apart all the obvious and speculated flaws of their hometown losers, aka, Giants-Mets-Rangers).  

I'm digressing. With all the things that JB (old #35) has done with his sports platform which I've disagreed with: #1-tearing down his individual players while his 'Golden Boys' of what ever past or present years get a pass for their sub-par performance. #2. His condescending snarkiness to post-game reporters who have serious critiques than those with gotcha-question. He's maybe as much a willing pawn in the system, than me thinking of him as a cynical villain.  

And YOU NO-MATTER-WHAT fans! Before you use rhetoric about others apathy or being like 'Good Germans', when for your own ennui from your vacuous lives, You enable all this, because THIS set up IS your junkie-fix that without it, your spouse or your pet would would be in the newspaper of an abused victim of your frustrated with your life self. 

  In ways Hector (Jimmy '0') and Achilles ("35 21 Century) are the avatars of all that you aren't as personality characters.
