Our Generic cultural entitlement
‘the Country-wide Karen syndrome’
Americans, rich AND poor; white as well as BLACK (and people of color)
are entitled indulged, self-centered bitches. We exist in a "What about
us?", beyond our basic, most minimalistic tangible and intangible needs.
Because of that we abuse each other unnecessarily to an inhumanities of
justice and inequities in the most overly abundant land. And we wonder
why we're both hated as well as admired. We have the most basic of
blessings, and we piss on them in ingratitude.
It may be a case of “If ‘He’, the So-n-So-titled person, can do it, then...Why can’t I” being seen doing some stuff. As well as all the ‘Karen’ or ‘Karl’ video clips we see that are the classic entitlement of inequitable, White, prerogative…
But ya find it in the sistah or brotha who flies past you in a 35mph zone going to a supermarket 2-blocks down the street. Or some other act of self-usurping of privileged behavior done as if they had an impunity to anybody providing any behavior correction.
Much like the stereotypical ‘spoiled brats’ of privileged wealth, those up-and-down and across the social hierarchy are all off-the-chain in their presumption taken as an inherent right by them to do so. Much like the proverbial ‘Mexican stand-off’ of psychology, these brats of OUR culture point the finger, in a broad-smearing of groups, rather than taking any ethical responsibility for being better than the actions they do because “Look at those people who get away doing it!”.
If not for the basic dignity required by the ‘Golden Rule’ or the justifiable merits of your actions, anything beyond those two caveats is an unjustifiable, indulgence of a false sense of entitlement
